Dr. Paul Gilbertson

Dr. Gilbertson was born in Saskatchewan and raised in Fort Assiniboine, Alberta. He attended the University of Alberta for pre-professional studies, and went on to University of Waterloo where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991. After practising as an optometrist in a number of different locations in Alberta, he began working at the Mira Health Centre in 1997, where he has been ever since.

An avid outdoor person, Dr. Gilbertson enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing and travelling.
